Kindergarten 1 - (3 a 4 anos): Children are challenged to develop through inquiry, exploration and play-centred learning. At the same time, they are led to meet their academic, social, emotional, physical, and cultural needs.

Kindergarten Years Programme:

• Mathematics
• Science, outdoor learning / Gardening
• Physical education
• Computer Science and Robotics
• Portuguese.

In the Kindergarten class, students start Reading and Writing projects. The main focus is on differentiating instructional models in order to reinforce and meet needs and create a passion for reading and writing within an enriching environment.
Use of technology: Initiation to computing, technology and robotics are integrated through the ILICODE curriculum. The goal is to empower students to be creators and not simply consumers of technology. ILICODE exposes all students and educators to the concepts and principles of technology and computing and critical thinking – essential skills for any profession.
